We will be mopping, constructing, gathering repurposed shelving and furniture, purchasing inventory.....getting ready for soft and grand openings this Fall and Winter, and possibly a few events this month! Stay tuned for more announcements. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for all of the support we have received.
- Brick and Mortar store update
- Fundraising campaign deadline Sept. 30th - Gratitude for YOU! Read our September 2019 newsletter by clicking the image below.... We can hardly believe it - we've been open a week and already had to restock! The market grand opening on Saturday the 10th at Spenard Farmer's Market was a huge success and we even ran out of a few items. Our updated products list is posted on the "Our Products" page here. We have added some and some are being reordered as we speak, hopefully to arrive before this week's markets.
Meanwhile, we have also reached $20,000 in our fundraiser! Our goal is $30,000, so we are 2/3 of the way there - YIPPEE! One question folks have asked is whether we will be selling food at the store - the answer is a resounding YES!!! We will be a one-stop-shop for all of your bulk unpackaged items once we land in a brick and mortar location in Spenard. Can't wait! Thank you Anchorage for greeting us with such enthusiasm right from the start.
Our First Newsletter has been sent, market cart almost ready to launch August 10th, signs made - click the image to read all about it! If you want to receive future newsletters, you can "subscribe" from that page, or go to our Contact Us Page and sign up. So excited....we are just bursting with anticipation.

Jen GordonI am a sailor and a mother, a writer, a traveler, a hiker and bicyclist and dog lover. I want my children's children to enjoy our blue planet. So I started dreaming about opening an "unpackaged" store in our hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. I have collected an amazing team of like-minded women and the dream is becoming reality! Archives
